Over the years, our bodies have developed efficient ways of moving; compensation patterns that accommodate things like tight ankles, tight hips or an old injury. While these patterns may allow the body to keep going they tend to have a dysfunctional effect in other parts of the body eventually causing pain such as in the back, knees or feet. 

How we help:

I take a wholistic approach to body movement. We’ll start with your feet and work up the movement chain of your body looking at how your unique movement patterns may be contributing to your injury/pain including muscle imbalances and joint mobility issues.  Then we’ll work out a program to address and correct the issues and prevent them from recurring.

Your program will consist of different techniques including muscle activations and strengthening, joint mobility, self-myofascial release and stretching specifically designed for your body to address the root causes and prevent reoccurrence.

What you get: The first visit (1 hour) includes a comprehensive assessment as well as feedback and education. You will receive a customised program with techniques and exercises designed to address your specific issues. You will then follow the program for about 3-4 weeks until your next appointment. You will have access to me via email or text should you have any questions, etc.

Follow-up visits (45 min) include a reassessment and program adjustments as needed as well as encouragement and accountability.

Should you choose to continue to work with me after you’ve completed the package you will be able to do so at the reduced rate of $90/hour.
